Getting Started with Projects
Projects are at the root (or top, depending on how you look at it) of Ovation--they represent that study you're conducting, that paper you're producing, or that line of research you're exploring. Need somewhere to put all the files for that study, paper, or line of research? This is the place. Not only that, once you've added data to a project you can begin telling that data's story through activities.
Have a team of collaborators working together? Add them to the project, too, where you can assign people roles and permissions you decide. Want to have a conversation, make comments, and record important information about your work? Yes, yes, and yes....it's all done on a project.
How do you actually do all this on a project though? The gif below gives a quick walkthrough of all the features on a project, including managing multiple projects and the different features Ovation provides within a project. Check it out.
Check out our other articles on uploading and managing data, adding team members and assigning them permissions, and managing sources, all of which will help you get a deeper dive into Ovation's data management and collaboration capabilities.
